Harry St.Ours is Professor of Media Arts & Technologies at Montgomery College in Maryland and an Apple Distinguished Educator. He is a former Smithsonian Faculty Fellow and Associate with the Center for Teaching and Learning, and designed and offered the first live-online, for-college-credit curriculum in computer graphics, in a joint venture between America Online and the Corcoran College of Art & Design.

He has also served as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Design in the School of Architecture and Design at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Prior to that, he was Co-Director of the Communication Arts Program at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. He has also taught at the Corcoran College of Art & Design in Washington, DC, Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia and the University of Maryland on military bases in Germany.

A marble sculptor by training and practice, he has been a professor of art for nearly five decades, and has had great fun teaching most every subject in fine art and applied design at some very cool colleges in the States and abroad. He is still captivated with the wonderful images and software coming out of the design community.
